Show HN: I built Notion Newsletter, now I get my newsletters in Notion
pikr.ioI don’t want to read my newsletters in my email client.
To solve my problem, I build pikr, an easy and fast solution that acts as a middleman between my inbox and my Notion Workspace.
Hi
I thought I'd drop the full story below:
I for one really love the utility of email newsletters but most of the time I found myself overwhelmed with the sheer amount of daily volume in my inbox. I try to minimize the time in my emails to begin with and this often leads to me avoiding them altogether.
I often ask myself, why is the user experience of email newsletters so bad?
I don’t want to read my newsletters in my email client.
The solution:
To solve my problem, I build pikr.io, an easy and fast solution that acts as a middleman between my inbox and my Notion Workspace.
pikr... processes my newsletters, summarizes them with AI, and puts the articles right where I manage all my personal and business-related stuff (Notion).
The perfect solution where my inbox stays clean and the articles are delivered directly into my Workspace.
It’s like room service, but for my brain.
Notion Integration:
FYI: The whole Notion part is totally optional. Everyone can use pikr as a standalone platform to enjoy your newsletters.
Here’s how pikr works:
1. Connect your Gmail and (optionally) Notion with pikr.
(a magical new folder will appear in your mail client)
2. Drag any email from a newsletter into your custom pikr* folder.
3. Done!
From now on pikr manages all incoming emails from that sender and puts them right into your Notion Workspace.
... and the best part is, it's free.
